SuperDeluxe has got the market cornered on comedy content right now, AFAIAC. FunnyorDie is great for short spurts and CollegeHumor is good for the scatological, pop culturey and sometimes absurdly yet wonderfully creative (Deadwood as a sitcom leaps to mind), but SuperDeluxe is different. It is acting like a TV network, grabbing as many funny people as they can get and giving them the green light to do their own web series. So far the success rate is pretty high (based on a very clinical ratings system using a complicated algorithm mixed with “my tastes” or in French, “moi tastes”).

Their most recent premiere is a collaboration between The Sklar Brothers (of Entourage and Cheap Seats fame) and Nick Kroll (of just about everything right now fame) called  ["(Layers)"]. Lots of funny stuff, yo. I don’t want to give it away but Nick Kroll plays an Agent’s Agent (i.e. he represents agents).

Damn I just gave it away.

It’s still worth watching. (WordPress won’t let me embed anything other than YouTube or Google Video so you’ll have to go to the site. Check out Derek and Simon while you’re there.)

“Copy that!”

Happy weekend!
