DIE ACTOR DIE

You know, I talk about comedians doing smart comedy a lot. I think it is more difficult because it challenges the audience to think and participate (it’s more “go with me” as opposed to “did you ever notice”), therefore it is more satisfying when executed well. I respect the effort to rise above simpler humor. So I respect the shit out of Hard N Phirm who do the smartest comedy around…and they do it in song. Ever see their Pi video? Do so.

For now, check out this ditty from their Super Deluxe series CPBS, The Country Public Broadcasting Service System. It’s pretty dense, pretty dirty (NSFW) and pretty awesome! Plus the video is amazingly well done. HBO give these guys a show immediately!
